National Hispanic Culture Center

The artistic and cultural heritage of the Hispanic Community is preserved at Albuquerque’s National Hispanic Cultural Center. It offers a Performing Arts Program, a Culinary Arts Program and an Outreach Program designed to educate the public. NHCC features a visual arts museum and an amphitheatre. The Roy E. Disney Center is a world-class stage for theatre, music and dance. Its 691-seat theatre is the centerpiece along with a smaller 291-seat theatre intended to become a venue for Spanish language films with board audience appeal.

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

The historic treasures of ancient tradition, culture and art are just part of the legacy left by the original Pueblo Indian inhabitants around Albuquerque and throughout New Mexico. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, jointly owned by New Mexico’s 19 different Indian Pueblos unfolds the legacy of the ancient Pueblos from thousands of years ago with fascinating museum exhibits. The Center features a Native American restaurant and jewelry, pottery, leather crafts and paintings are available for viewing and for sale. Native American dance and craft demonstrations are presented on Saturdays and Sundays. Cameras are only permitted on the patio areas. If you plan on visiting area Pueblos, visiting the Center will create a more enlightening experience.
